According to wikepedia, "the word "angel" is used to refer to an inspiration from God. The use of the term has extended to refer to artistic depictions of the beings, and it is also used figuratively to refer to messengers and harbingers, and to people who possess high qualities of goodness, purity, selflessness, intelligence, and/or beauty". Angels feature in just about every religion, so you have to think, there must be something in it. Personally, I am a Pagan, but I do believe in some kind of spiritual guidance from the Divine. I have built this section of my website to explore the idea of angels, and what that means to me. |
